Formulated with high quality resins to provide the screen printer with a highly pigmented, high solids ink suitablel for prolonged exterior exposure.

Substrates and End uses

Most vinyl films, top-coated polyesters, other plastics and coated paper, etc. Used in the production of exterior markings, signs and displays. Always pretest.

Semi-gloss (Satin) finish

Reduction

Use 9180 for normal viscosity reduction in high speed printing or retard with 9182. For slower production speeds, fine detail printing and high temperature plant conditions use 9183 Retarder. Suggested reduction is 5 - 10%.

Mesh size

200 to 350 monofilament polyester or equivalent. For print quality, ease of cleaning and stencil removal we recommend monofilament polyester.

Stencils

Lacquerproof or water soluble only. Water soluble blockout.

Stencil removal

Emulsions can be removed by using our Willostrip or other strippers and a high pressure washer. As age makes stencils more difficult to remove, stencils should be reclaimed as soon as possible.

Clean Up

Image Technology's SC-19 or Chromaline's 750.

General Information

SPECIAL PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS: Print with as little off-contact as possible. Generally, squeegees should be sharp, medium to hard and made of solvent resistant material. We suggest Ulon polyurethane squeegees.

NOTE: Check sheets before stacking. Generally, sheets may be stacked without problems; however, some sheeting and drying conditions may result in entrapped solvents and a tendency toward marring and blocking.
